WHAT IS THE PLAYGROUND ?

Playground (noun): an international gathering dedicated to stakeholders of education and social change through sport. The initial concept, created by PLAY International, is a space for exchanging, learning and co-creating new educational methods and tools exploiting sport. Designed as a catalyst for pedagogical and social innovation through sport, it facilitates the development of educational, social and humanitarian projects. The event is characterisedby the requirement to wear sneakers.

«In 2015, PLAY International launched a new forum model. A forum where the sneakers are compulsory and ties strongly discouraged. A forum that leverages the new educational, social and humanitarian activities for the practical benefit of hundreds of practitioners from around the world. In 2017, PLAY International dedicates this forum to responding to a significant health challenge: physical inactivity and sedentary lifestyles. This 17 and 18 October, at the Cent-Quatrein Paris, it will be a question of concentrating our collective energy on this major health issue. Come join us! » David Blough, Executif Director PLAY International
